There are also several beaches in Harwich where you may purchase day passes at the beach entrances or purchase weekly/seasonal passes from the Chamber of Commerce in Harwich Port.

Is there a place nearby where I can rent or hire bikes?
There is a bike rental shop located on the Cape Cod Rail Trail, close to the inn, if you wish to rent a specialty bike, such as an E-Bike or a Tandem Bike. Guests may not transport the bikes to other locations unless they have a bike rack on their vehicle. The Cape Cod Rail Trail, ideal for biking and hiking, is less than a mile’s bike ride from the Inn.

Does the inn allow pets?
We do have 2 dog-friendly rooms with private entrances. There is a $50/day per dog pet cleaning fee. Our insurance requires restrictions on breeds allowed at the Inn, so reservations with your dog must be booked by phone. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area or inside the Inn, as per our insurance requirements. They must be leashed at all times and cannot be left alone in the room. Aside from the driveway and parking area, the entire property is fenced, providing a safe space to walk your dog. We can send you our dog guidelines and dog waiver upon request. We have two fur babies, doodles, of our own, so we understand the desire to travel with your dog. We can recommend activities and restaurants that welcome dogs.

We are an adults-only inn. Guests must be 18 years or older and accompanied by a parent or guardian. One guest must be 21 years of age or older to check in. For families with children, we can provide recommendations for other hotel and inn options. The only time children are allowed at the Inn is when the entire Inn is booked for a family gathering. Please call us to discuss.

Cape Cod is renowned as one of the premier destinations in the world for whale-watching. The whale-watching season stretches from April to October, and depending on the time of year, it’s possible to see North Atlantic right whales, humpback whales, minke whales, finback whales and dolphins. The Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch leaves out of Provincetown several times a day during the season. Is the inn handicap accessible?
The Inn is a historic house built by a sea captain in the 1850s, and during that era, it was not designed with handicap-accessible features. We have added grab bars in the bathrooms of the guest rooms, (except for next to the toilet in Room #7), for guests who may need a little assistance, as well as at the private entrances to Rooms 1, 7, and 8. Additionally, grab bars are installed in the showers and the standard room half bath. The Inn has multiple levels and is not fully accessible to people with disabilities. Please contact us to see if we can meet your needs or recommend other hotel and inn options on Cape Cod that are handicap accessible.

What is a “boutique inn”?
The Platinum Pebble Boutique Inn has brought the boutique hotel concept to Cape Cod. A boutique hotel (or inn) is a smaller property with a unique, artful, and customized design, offering a more intimate and luxurious experience. Boutique inns are the antithesis of the homogeneity that you find at traditional hotels and inns. Our unique modern interior design has created a chic, contemporary styled Cape Cod Luxury Inn. Our goal is to provide you with the ultimate Cape Cod experience, whether you wish for our guidance in curating activities for your stay or you prefer to discover Cape Cod on your own.

Do you provide beach towels?
We provide beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and sun tents for inn guests heading out to one of the many Cape Cod beaches.

Does the inn provide parking?
There is complimentary guest parking at the inn. We have a total of 8 spaces: one parking space is allocated to each room.

Does the inn have an EV (electric vehicle) charger?
Yes! We have two Level 2 EV charging ports available for our guests.

Are there any Cape Cod events worth attending?
Throughout the year, Cape Cod stages many extraordinary events and festivals. These range from music (Melody Tent Concert series, Wequassett Jazz series, Harwich Cranberry Fest, Pops By the Sea), film (Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Provincetown Film fests), art, wine (Toast of Harwich, Nantucket Wine Fest) to eating (Restaurant Weeks, Bourne Scallopfest) to the Harwich Stroll the first weekend of December each year (and Santa stays at the Inn that weekend!).

I love staying here!

This B&B is the best I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to several! The owners are so hospitable and think of everything you could possibly need. The rooms are super clean, comfortable, and a nice decor and the bed and linens are top-notch. They have a very nice pool area and a beautiful backyard to relax in. And to top it off, they have delicious breakfasts and are very accommodating to special diets! Just finished my fourth year in a row visiting and I am a lifer for sure!

Thank you, Shawn & Sharon for making this the best place to stay!
